Selling on Tojar: payments, plans and your Shopping Mall listing

Tojar is a multi-vendor marketplace where you keep your brand and manage your own store. This guide walks you through everything you need to start selling.

1. Register and apply

Create an account, then open the "Become a vendor" application. Tell us about your business, upload your trade licence for verification (KYC), and submit. Once an admin approves you, your store goes live with a one-month free trial.

2. Choose how you get paid

At registration you pick one of two payment modes:

• Tojar Gateway — customers pay through Tojar's secure checkout (card and other methods). Tojar handles the transaction and settles your earnings to your wallet and bank payouts.
• Direct payment — you collect payment from the customer yourself, for example through your own payment link or accepted methods. Tojar never touches this money; you receive it directly.

3. Using direct payment

Direct payment must be approved by Tojar and requires a verified (KYC) account and a valid payment link. When a customer checks out with your direct-payment items, the order is placed as Awaiting seller payment and the customer is shown your payment link and instructions. Once you receive the money, open the order and tap Confirm payment received to move it forward and fulfil it. Because these payments are off-platform, refunds and disputes are your responsibility — always honour paid orders promptly.

4. Plans and the free trial

All plans are billed yearly and include a one-month free trial that starts when your account is approved. Before the trial ends, pay the annual fee from the secure billing page in your dashboard to keep selling. If payment isn't received after the trial and a short grace period, your store is suspended until you pay.

5. Shopping Mall listing and pre-orders

UAE sellers can list their store under an emirate and a shopping mall, so buyers can browse the "Shopping Mall" menu and find you. International factories and manufacturers can register to supply UAE sellers and customers, including pre-order products — just be sure you can fulfil within the lead times you set.

6. Fulfil orders and stay active

Ship within the timeframe stated on your listings, keep stock accurate, and respond to customer messages. Reliable fulfilment protects your ratings and keeps your store in good standing. Welcome to Tojar!
